N-Gage compatible devices are released in regional-specific variants. Unfortunately, the N-Gage application is not currently certified with all regional variants. Even if you are able to install the N-Gage application on an unsupported regional variant, purchase or activation function will only work on certified variants.
To determine which regional variant you have, please follow the instructions below:
1. Switch your device display to standby mode as shown in Figure 1 below.
2. Enter * 0000 on your device as shown in figure 2.
3. View your hardware and software version numbers on your device display as shown in Figure 3.
4. Confirm your hardware and software are N-Gage compatible in Figure 4 (http://www.n-gage.com/ngi/etc/medialib/ngage/web/common/get_n-gage_images/misc.Par.6517.Image.120.0.1.gif)
Backup and restore your data
5.If you are installing the N-Gage application for the first time, you may safely skip this step, although you might want to back up your data as a precaution.
